Sober Corps is a community resource dedicated to helping individuals achieve their first year of freedom from chemical addiction through mentorship, life-skills training and networking.
Achieving long-term sobriety is hard work, particularly for individuals who have little hope and no network of support.
Since late 2007, Sober Corps has succeeded in pairing long-sober mentors with individuals who have struggled with addiction but are committed to making drastic lifestyle changes in support of their journeys to sobriety. The result is remarkably positive and has been applauded by participants and community leaders alike.
